About The Blue Lion Pub
The Blue Lion Pub opened in 2020 with a dream of being more than just another bar—it would be a home for the community. When COVID-19 hit, the pub refused to give up. Under Wes's leadership, they weathered the storm, strengthening their bonds with customers who saw the pub as their sanctuary.
Just as things were looking up in 2023, the Howard Hughes Corporation's acquisition of the shopping center threatened to end it all. But the pub's story wasn't over. With support from Travis and Millie Fitzpatrick, The Blue Lion found a new, larger home on McBeth Way. The move brought new opportunities and fresh faces: Erika stepped in to manage the restaurant operations, while Kristi took charge of the bar. Marichka, the charismatic bartender, quickly became the heart of the front house, ensuring every guest felt heard.
What started as a small Scottish-themed pub has grown into something bigger—a testament to perseverance and community spirit. The Blue Lion isn't just surviving; it's thriving, proving that sometimes the underdogs don't just survive—they soar.
